The Winston Global Energy Research Center at the University of California, Riverside (UCR) is a permanent research institute established through a donation by Winston Battery.

The center focuses on fundamental scientific research, including:

  • Mechanisms and corrosion behavior of water-based lithium chemistry

  • Electrochemical stability analysis

  • Failure modes analysis

  • Fundamental electrochemical and materials science

The UCR laboratory provides Winston Battery with:

  • An international-grade research platform

  • Systematic and long-term validation data

  • A global academic and scientific collaboration network

This center serves as Winston Battery’s most important overseas base for fundamental research.



2. China R&D Center (Fujian)


Applied Engineering & System Innovation

Winston Battery’s China R&D Center in Fujian focuses on application-driven engineering innovation, including:

  • Ultra-large-capacity cell structural design

  • High-safety structural optimization

  • Multi-scenario testing and validation

  • System development for marine, energy storage, and robotics applications

  • Customized system design (OEM / ODM)

  • Extreme-environment verification

The China R&D Center is the core force behind project deployment and product realization, forming a complementary relationship with U.S.-based fundamental research.
